So, in short, with a maximum of five stars, I rate the service four, the beef lo mein 3.5, and the fried rice a one. It was very, very greasy, and I could only stand a couple of mouthfuls. I get that Asian rice dishes don't usually include separate grains, but this portion clumped like golf balls. It seemed as if it had been made hours before and simply thrown into a wok with some oil to heat it up. The fried rice, however, was a huge disappointment. My only complaint was that it was a little too greasy. To be fair, the lo mein was above-average. I get that restaurants prep certain items, but this was unusual. There is no way they made fresh fried rice and beef lo mein fresh in five minutes. I ordered, and I had only played one hand of bridge on my phone before mine was ready. The food was prepared as I asked for it (slightly spicy and with extra onions). $20 for an entree and a fried rice, including tax, is eminently reasonable. aren't nearly as astronomical as they once were. So, I drove out to get food from here.įirst, the good: The service is polite and professional. I wanted to try this place again because there are no good Chinese places in Sarnia proper, and the place in Corunna is vastly overpriced.
